This is a spectrogram of Louis Armstrong's opening solo in West End Blues.  It shows what a wide pitch range he covers, how rapid he plays the notes, their different time durations, and different amounts of vibrato.  The spectrogram also provides a visual record of the repeated triplets he uses as a rhythmic device.    You can listen to it on Spotify (it begins right at the start):
