Video on neo-Riemannian Theory

This video shows a beautiful example of using P and L transformations on the Tonnetz to analyze a passage from Brahms, Concerto for Violin and Cello, Op. 102, 1st mvt, mm. 270-76. The example is taken from the work of Richard Cohn, specifically pp. 30-31 of Audacious Euphony: Chromaticism and the Triad's Second Nature, Oxford University Press, 2012. On the right of the video is a graph of the moves on the Tonnetz that are shown (by a different method) in the video. The triad A-flat major that begins the sequence is circled in the graph.
