The spectrogram was created from a microphone recording of a brief portion of a YouTube video, featuring a live performance by Sweet Honey in the Rock.   Because this performance is not part of Sweet Honey in the Rock's recorded repertoire, we shall examine instead a different recording, obtained from that repertoire.  The musical aspects of this spectrogram are quite similar to the ones we described for Figure 4.8 in the book.  The following spectrogram was obtained from Sweet Honey in the Rock's rendition of Precious Memories:

The spectrogram shows several examples of the chorus creating chords with their voices.  There is also numerous examples of vibrato; one singer showing quite a large frequency spread.  There is also a rhythmic ostinato employed by the bass singer throughout the passage.
